THANK YOU, WILSON COUNTY DISTRICT 16!!!
The votes have been counted, and while the result wasn’t what we had hoped for, I am deeply grateful for the support and effort of each one of you.
750 people cast their votes in this race, and it all came down to just 55 votes (7.3%).
Fifty-five votes. If that doesn’t highlight how much each vote matters, especially in a local election, I don’t know what does.
To the 347 people who voted for me, thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and in our shared vision for our community.
And to everyone who knocked on doors, made calls, shared posts, put out signs, donated, prayed, encouraged me, or talked to a neighbor about this campaign, your support means the world to me.
This experience went beyond winning or losing. It became about heartfelt conversations on front porches, football fields, swimming pools, community events, and kitchen tables. I’ve had the privilege of meeting more of my neighbors, hearing what matters to you, and strengthening the bonds that hold our community together.
We didn’t get the outcome we hoped for, but I am incredibly proud of what we built together.
346 votes represent 346 voices—and those voices still matter.
