This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

As we gather with family, friends, and neighbors, we are reminded of the importance of community and caring for one another.

At The Pantry, we remain committed to supporting local families and ensuring no one in our community goes hungry. We are grateful for the volunteers, donors, and supporters who make this mission possible every day.

More than 1,200 boxes of cereal donated. A lasting impact felt one box at a time. 💛

We are so grateful to the students, families, faculty, staff, and PTA at Coman Hill Elementary School in Armonk for turning kindness into something truly unforgettable. The cereal domino chain is such fun and a powerful reminder that kindness spreads one box, can or food donation at a time.

Thank you for helping us nourish our neighbors with this incredible donation.

Byram Hills Central School District

Today, Coman Hill had a cereal-isly wonderful Community Day as students packed into the gym to see more than 1,200 cereal boxes donated by families, faculty, and staff for a great cause! The event included heartfelt speeches and joyful sing-alongs before a massive cereal box domino chain unraveled, showing how kindness spreads one box at a time. All cereal boxes will be donated to a local food pantry. Thank you to the Byram Hills PTSA for their help and for the Coman Hill bracelets. What an incredible day!

The Pantry is honored to spotlight United Methodist Church of Mount Kisco, a sponsoring congregation with a long and meaningful connection to our work and to the neighbors we nourish.

Through this month’s food drive, UMC is helping fill our shelves while reminding us how powerful community care can be when people come together with generosity and purpose.

Pictured top right, Pastor Thomas Stubbs shared:

“The Pantry is a place where the deep gladness of giving and the deep hunger of the world meet. It inspired me to see the Mt. Kisco community share its abundance with those we serve.”

Pictured below right, congregant and volunteer Heather Kent reflected on her family’s long connection to The Pantry:

“I have been familiar with The Pantry since it was located at the Boys & Girl’s Club 22 yrs. ago. I was new to the area, and I was so impressed that this community really cared for all its residents. Several years later, after it moved to our church, my husband and then my son were lucky to be a part of such a wonderful organization and were proud of being associated with The Pantry. This place has been amazing and supportive and honestly the lifeblood for so many people. I am happy to give back by volunteering whenever I can.”

We are grateful to the entire UMC community for helping nourish our neighbors and strengthen the circle of care around The Pantry.
