MLPD is Requesting the Public’s Help Identifying Shoplifting Suspects

The Mount Laurel Police Department is investigating a shoplifting incident that occurred on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Target.

A male and female suspect loaded three Dyson vacuum cleaners into a shopping cart and passed all points of sale without rendering payment. The stolen merchandise was valued at approximately $1,599.34. The suspects were last seen leaving the area in a black SUV.

If anyone can identify these individuals or has information related to this incident, please contact the Mount Laurel Police Department at 856-234-8300 or the confidential tip line at 856-234-1414, Ext. 1599.

All persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Today, the Mount Laurel Police Department had the pleasure of hosting students from Lenape High School as part of their Senior Service Day.

The students gave back to the community by washing police cars, and also had the opportunity to share lunch with officers and meet our K9s. We are grateful they chose to spend their day with us and appreciate their hard work.

Thank you to Lenape High School and all of the students who participated in making the day a success, and we wish them all the best on graduation!

The Mount Laurel Police Department will be conducting a DWI checkpoint along the Route 73 corridor today, May 29, 2026, as part of an effort to deter impaired driving and promote roadway safety.

Motorists are reminded to drive responsibly, obey all traffic laws, and never operate a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

If you plan to consume alcohol, arrange for a designated driver, rideshare service, or alternate transportation.
