6/1/26 5:59am- WVFD responded to a two vehicle accident at the US 19 and WV 129 intersection in Mt Nebo. Units found a passenger car in the median with heavy front end damage and a pickup truck in the road with rear end damage. Two injured patients were treated and transported in stable condition.

05/13/2026 2:12pm- Wilderness and Keslers Cross Lanes Fire Departments were dispatched to a two vehicle accident at the US 19 and WV 129 intersection in Mt Nebo. Units arrived to find two passenger cars involved in an accident in the intersection. Four injured patients were treated by Jan-Care and Redi-Care Ambulance Services. Two of those patients were flown by Air Evac Lifeteam and HealthNet Aeromedical Services to a trauma center. Nicholas County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the accident.
