The Friends of the Mt. Morris Library is a group of volunteers who work closely with the Mt. Morris Library to raise money for special programs & services.

We are a group of community volunteers who work closely with the Mt. Morris Branch of the Genesee District to look for ways to address services and programs offered there. If you happened to visit the library yesterday you needed to use side entrance, this is why. New flooring was put down and drying.

The bathroom recieved new upgrade in flooring as well. One bathroom is completed and second one soon the get the upgrade. Visit the library and see for yourself, it really accents the new carpet.

The Mt. Morris Library Carpet Fund has achieved its goal through the kindness of donors, and the new carpet installation is planned for the week of October 21, 2024.

Dust off those golf clubs join the fun on June 22, great opportunity to help raise money for the Mt. Morris Library. Replacing the 40 year old carpet. Contact Kurt Sherwood 810-875-6486 to get registered.

I will take another lunch bag up to the library for the April giveaway, as someone stole my first one. Yeah bummer, Heather the librarian called the police, its under investigation. So to the woman that stole it, we know what you look like, got you on video. 👀 are watching. Ps, Heather will set a photo out of the lunch bag and keep the bag in the office so this wont happen again.
