Unbiddenpain

Unbiddenpain Unbiddenpain doesn’t play metal. Unbiddenpain is metal—war carried home, betrayal made bureaucratic, rage held under discipline. No redemption. No amnesia.

Permanently closed.

Doom, industrial hostility and scar tissue become testimony. No surrender to moral indifference. I am Unbiddenpain. My name is Eric Compton. I served as a Recon Scout in the 1-327 Infantry, Tiger Force, in Iraq. I returned home wounded—physically, psychologically, and spiritually. What came after wasn’t peace. It was a slow crucifixion. PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and the violent collapse of my

family life through a broken court system nearly erased me. They took my children, my voice, and almost my life. But I survived. My music is not performance—it's retaliation. It is survival in sound form. Every lyric I write bleeds with real suffering. Every scream is torn from a place most people are lucky to never know. And every bassline I pluck is a lifeline back to myself. This isn’t entertainment—this is war through melody, grief through groove, and love turned to battle cry. I create emotional metalcore, nu-metal, and griefwave not to be famous, but to stay alive. This is art forged from loss, fatherhood, war, and rage. You’ll hear haunted harmonies in my songs because I am haunted. You’ll hear raw screams because I’ve run out of words. And if you listen closely, you’ll hear a father calling out to his stolen children… a soldier still at war with himself… and a man daring to keep breathing when everything told him to stop. Unbiddenpain isn’t just a name. It’s what they gave me. Now I give it back—with distortion.
