A tropical system will bring significant additional amounts of rain to our area Thursday. This could lead to even more significant flash flooding, especially in areas highlighted in red. Total rainfall for the week in some spots could reach 8-10 inches.

A "Limited Threat" for flooding is possible across the area Monday through at least Wednesday. Please continue to check back for updates, as adjustments to both the threat area and timeframe may need to be made.

Lexie is incredibly reliable, constantly learning new things, and you know if she's on a call with you she absolutely has your back.

There's also a non-zero chance that if she comes to your home for a medical call, not only will you get spectacular medical care, she will befriend all of your pets.

Happy National EMS Recognition Day and National EMS Week to all of our emergency medical responders!!

While it's often a thankless job, the work you do is so vital to the well-being of so many people. Sometimes it's quite literally life or death.
