🚧Road Closure on Portion of Piqua Kentontown Road (KY 617) in Robertson Co.🚧

Piqua Kentowntown Road is closed just south of Waterworks Road due to a slide. This closure will remain in place until further notice. Folks can detour using U.S. 62 and KY 165.

We'll let everyone know once repairs are scheduled on this road!

EXCEPT
Hwy 617 (Piqua-Kentontown Rd) CLOSED
Will be closed for an undetermined amount of time (think long term) for structural damage to the road at mile marker 3.8 which has been deemed as unsafe too all.
No thru traffic at all
Barricades and signage have been placed on both ends
WATER OUTAGE 617

Water line break from last nights storm on 617
Water has been repaired in certain spots giving some people water and some with low pressure. We know of at least one is getting no service at all and it is still a work in progress especially with road structural damage closure

Most roads are back open for thru traffic but please be careful as some still have some minor standing water with debris. Also note that the Flood Warning is still in effect to areas by The North Fork which is expected to crest today and go below Flood Stage on Tuesday. Turn around, Don’t Drown.
NOTE THE FOLLOWING
617 (Piqua-Kentontown Rd) will remain closed with no Estimated Time Determined
Structural Damage has occurred and it is unsafe for any thru traffic, barricades have been put in place

At this time Highway 539 , Five Lick and WolfRun have water on the road but not completely closed

NWS has issued an Flash Flood Warning in our area from now to 5:15 pm
Flash Flooding from Thunderstorms is a possibility for flood prone areas , creeks, runoff’s, underpasses, streets, etc
You should consider moving from any of theses flood prone areas until the threat has subsided

NWS has issued a Flood Watch for Robertson County in effect from 12:30 pm now to 11:00 pm tonight.

Please use caution in the prone areas to flooding and do not cross any roads that have been impacted by rising water on any roads
