🚑 A New Addition to the Henry County EMS Fleet! 🚑
We are excited to announce that Henry County EMS welcomed its new 2026 Tahoe PPV Command Vehicle! This vehicle will replace our current EMS Command vehicle, a 2004 Colorado, and will enhance our ability to serve residents of Henry County when they need us most.
The new Command Vehicle will support a variety of emergency response needs, including:
✅ First responder assistance in areas without local fire department Emergency Medical Responders
✅ Additional manpower on EMS calls without taking another ambulance out of service
✅ Medical Incident Command response for major incidents
This purchase has been years in the making, and we're grateful to the Henry County Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees for recognizing its importance and helping make it a reality. Even better, the vehicle was purchased using hospital reserve funds, with no EMS levy funds used for the purchase.
We look forward to putting this new resource to work for the communities we proudly serve.
