Friends of the Mt. Pleasant Public Library We are the Friends of the Mt. Pleasant Public Library in Mt. Pleasant, NC. We work to support our public library. The Friends of the Mt.

Pleasant Library welcomes all to our meetings which take place on the first Monday of every month, unless otherwise noted. The meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. We discuss various avenues for achieving public awareness and support of our public library.

The Friends of the Mt. Pleasant Library had a BERRY special Strawberry Shortcake Storytime with Jennifer Moorman Books at the Cabarrus County Library's Mt. Pleasant Library branch! Editions - Coffee and Bookstore was there with books available for signing, and everyone enjoyed themed refreshments, BERRY sweet crafts, a scavenger hunt, and photo ops! What a fun afternoon celebrating Jennifer Moorman’s newest children’s book, STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE AND THE BERRY BESTIES FESTIVAL! 🍓🍰📚

🥚🐣🐥Have you checked in on our egg incubators? They’ve been warming eggs for about a week now and are 1/3 through their journey to hatching! You can stop by anytime to see the incubators, pick up some take home activities, and check out books!
This Thursday 6/11 and next Thursday 6/18 stop by at 2:00pm for a quick egg dissection lab where we will be cracking open some eggs to learn about how they work and what’s going on inside!
