Officer Smoker’s office will be located in Thorpe Hall, putting him right in the heart of campus and giving students another familiar face to connect with.

He is FIRED UP 🔥 about the new academic year and looking forward to building relationships with students, staff, and the entire CMU community!

Parking Services would like to remind everyone that bicycles/micro-mobility scooters must be registered, and a permit is required. To register, please go to our online self-service parking portal at parking.cmich.edu. Please take your bicycles/micro-mobility scooters home if you will not be using them on campus during the summer.

Bicycles/micro-mobility scooters that are illegally parked, unregistered, or inoperable will be impounded on May 14th by the CMU Police Department. After 30 days of impound, bicycles/micro-mobility scooters will be forwarded to the CMU Surplus Store and sold. CMU ordinances 12.02, 12.06, and 12.21.
