SOCIAL MEDIA USER RESPONSIBILITY GUIDE

Village of Mount Pleasant social media accounts are limited public forums intended for discussion of only the topics specified by the Village. Those comments represent the opinions of the commenter or user only, and do not represent the Village. The Village asks that no requests for emergency service or immediate response be made through social media because

the accounts are not continuously monitored. Authorized Users who administer the Village's social media accounts are responsible for monitoring comments on a regular basis, and should act in an unbiased fashion that maintains viewpoint neutrality. The Village may enable profanity filters available through social media platforms. Those may result in comments being automatically hidden. Authorized Users will review hidden comments for compliance with this User Responsibility Guide. Comments or posts that contain any of the following content are subject to removal or other restriction by the Village:
a) Content that is profane, or obscene
b) Content that is threatening, or incites violence
c) Content that violates any local, state, or federal law
d) Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates unlawful activity
e) Content that unlawfully defames an individual or organization
f) Solicitation of commerce, including, but not limited to, advertising of any non-Village-related event, business, or product for sale
g) Content that violates the intellectual property rights of others
h) Malicious or harmful software or malware

It is important to respect and comply with the terms of use for all social media platforms. Students at Case High are heading back to school with some new ways to spread their wings.

Today, RUSD celebrated renovations, including new spaces designed for hands-on learning in fields like construction, manufacturing, and culinary arts.

About 1,800 students will walk the halls this year, and its alumni are making an impact throughout the region. Mount Pleasant Trustee Denise Anastasio, who is a Case alum, stopped by to help celebrate.

A ribbon-cutting is a great reason to celebrate! 🎉

We joined Tabak Law to celebrate the opening of their second office in Mount Pleasant. They provide services for clients who need legal support for veterans' benefits, personal injury, and more!

Congratulations! Thanks to Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce for organizing today's celebration.
