Northeast Cabarrus Volunteer Fire Department sends our thoughts and deepest sympathies to the members of the Durham Fire Department, their families, and the entire Durham community during this heartbreaking time of loss.

We stand alongside our brothers and sisters in the fire service as they mourn this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are also with the two injured firefighters and their families as they recover.

Our prayers are with everyone affected by this tragedy.

The fire service is more than just a profession; it's a family. And when one of our own is hurting, the entire family feels it.

Stay Safe.

What a great day at Ruffin’s Roost for Fall at the Farm! 🍂🚒

Northeast Cabarrus Volunteer Fire Department was proud to be a part of it today, and we couldn’t have asked for better folks to work with.

A big THANK YOU to Tiffany and the whole crew at Ruffin’s Roost for having us out. We had a great time cooking and selling BBQ, selling a few 50/50 tickets, talking with folks, and just enjoying being out in our community.

And a BIG shout-out to our NEVFD members and volunteers who actually came out, worked and donated their time to help make today happen. These folks give their time, energy, and a whole lot of hard work to support this department and our community. We couldn’t do it without each one of YOU! 🚒

And to everyone who stopped by and supported the fire department — THANK YOU!

Whether you bought a BBQ plate, grabbed a ticket, stopped to say hello, or just came out to enjoy the day, we truly appreciate each and everyone of you.

This is what being a volunteer fire department is all about — members that love serving our community, supporting our neighbors, and having a little fun along the way!

From all of us at Northeast Cabarrus Volunteer Fire Department — thank you for supporting your local fire department! 🚒

Stay safe, y’all!

🥫🔥 HELP US HELP OUR KIDS! 🔥🥫

Northeast Cabarrus Volunteer Fire Department is proud to partner with the Firefighters’ Burned Children’s Fund – Cabarrus County Chapter!

We now have an aluminum can collection trailer at our station, and we want to FILL IT UP!

Every aluminum can you donate helps support the Firefighters’ Burned Children’s Fund and the important work they do to help children and families affected by burn injuries.

So, the next time you finish that cold drink, DON’T THROW THAT CAN AWAY! ♻️

👉 Bring your aluminum cans to Northeast Cabarrus Volunteer Fire Department and drop them in the collection trailer.

It may seem like a small donation, but when our community comes together, those cans can make a BIG difference in the life of a child.

We’re proud to partner with an organization that supports children when they need it most.

Help us fill the trailer! Bring us your cans! 🥫🚒❤️
