Mt. Pleasant Public Schools is looking for a dynamic, full-time (1.0 FTE) Science Teacher to join our team at MPHS (grades 9-12).

We are looking for an engaging educator with a valid Michigan teaching certificate (DX) and a DI certification/endorsement to bring science to life in our classrooms!

What We're Looking For:
Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university with a major in education.

Certification: A valid Michigan teaching certificate DX, with an additional DI endorsement preferred.

Experience: Demonstrated experience working with high school-aged students.

The Details:
Compensation: According to the negotiated Master Agreement with the Mt. Pleasant Education Association.

Deadline: Open until filled, and screening begins immediately!

Our Interact Club shared out at Rotary.

🌟Youth in Action: Interact Making a Difference

This week, we were excited to hear from our Interact students from Mt Pleasant High School and learn about the incredible ways they have been serving our community throughout the year!

These young leaders organized a walk-a-thon to raise funds for a local family in need, volunteered at The Laurels nearly every week, participated in the Purple Pinkie Promise campaign to support the global fight against polio, and generously gave their time at both the Rotary Beef Dinner and Christmas Outreach.

Their dedication to service, compassion for others, and willingness to step up when help is needed embody the very spirit of Rotary. We are continually inspired by the next generation of leaders and the positive impact they are making right here in our community.

Thank you to our Interact students for your hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment to Service Above Self. The future is bright!

This is just a reminder to go into FinalForms, toggle to the next school year and choose ANY and ALL sports that your athlete may be interested in for the next school year. A huge amount of the sports will be starting Summer Workouts, Open Gyms, Scrimmages, Camps and more next week and we would hate for your athlete to miss out on these opportunities.

FinalForms is the one of the only ways a coach has contact information for their future athletes. If you have any issues, please reach out to the Athletic Office for assistance.

💛 💙 Mt. Pleasant Public Schools is incredibly grateful to have been selected for the Spring 2026 2% Grants. The Tribe has generously awarded our district a grand total of $197,850.74!

These funds will support essential programs and innovative new projects across every building in our district, including:
🤖 Robotics and eSports team competitions
🛡️ Critical safety and security upgrades
📚 Enhanced literacy tools, diverse books, and hands-on learning materials
🐾 Support for the Oiler Pack Therapy Dog Program
🗣️ Positive behavioral supports, student nutrition, and health education
