Isabella County Recycling Center / Material Recovery Facility Each year residents and businesses recycle more than 11 million pounds of recyclable materials in Isabella County.

Join your neighbors in doing your part to reduce landfill waste. The Recycling Program provides recycling services at County Depot Sites:
Blanchard, Rosebush, Winn, Broomfield, Weidman, and Shepherd. The Material Recovery Facility (MRF) serves as the Union Township Depot that is open to the public for residential or commercial recycling.

The Isabella County Recycling Center (MRF) will be closed on Thanksgiving Day Thursday, November 26. We will be re-open Friday, November 27, 2015 from 8am til 3pm.

We would also like to remind curbside customers to check their calendar or refer to the website links for adjusted pick up schedules. Curbside Recycling Schedules

Everyone is invited to join in on our Earth Day 2015 celebration.

On Saturday, April 25th, the Isabella County Materials Recovery Facility, located at 4208 E. River Rd., will be celebrating Earth Day by waiving ALL FEES for all approved recyclable materials including yard waste, brush, oil, oil filters, antifreeze, tires, electronics, Styrofoam, cardboard, paper products, and accepted glass and plastics.

The Isabella County Materials Recovery Facility would like to invite everyone to join in on our Earth Day 2015 celebration.

Did you know that along with recycling, composting is a great way to keep down the amount of materials that we put in landfills everyday? By simply composting we can reduce the waste sent to landfills by 30 - 50%.

Composting uses the natural process of decomposition to turn organic waste into a usable product. Using compost on your lawn and garden provides nutrients and helps soil retain moisture.
