REMINDER!!
Seaside Farms & Franke @ Seaside 4th of July Parade! Refreshments @ Franke afterwards!
10:00 Monday, July 4th
Start gathering at the Pool Circle around 9:30 or 9:45 am
Wear your red, white, and blue - decorate your bikes, scooters, and Golf carts! Bring water for the route, and water for your pooch!
If you don't want to march - cheer us on from your porch or your driveway!! This is a fun, community event, and we hope everyone will participate in some way!!!
We hope to have a Fire truck to lead us, and we expect a Mt. Pleasant Police Squad car to es**rt us from the back.
PLEASE - IF YOU LIVE ON THE PARADE ROUTE DO NOT LEAVE CARS PARKED IN THE STREET BETWEEN 9:45 AND 10:30. The parade route goes from the pool up Southern Magnolia, Left on Carolina Jasmine, then left on Magnolia Woods. The Fire truck apparently cannot dodge low hanging trees and cars parked on both sides, too! Thanks!
We could also use a few more helpers to wear our reflective vests (we have them) and help us keep traffic at bay while our parade passes.
Refreshments will be served at the end of the route at "Franke at Seaside" NOTE: We will be doing one extra loop at Franke this year, a right turn just before the Chapel so that some of the non-ambulatory residents can see our parade. If you can't make the extra loop, continue straight and wait, until we come back around. Thanks so much
AND, later on, you are all invited to a free Sing-Along featuring "Independence day Patriotic Songs" at the Franke Chapel from 3:00 - 4:00 pm, lead by Charleston's own Emily Re*****on!!
