Medic 10 - Mount Pleasant EMS Providing prehospital services to the Borough of Mount Pleasant, as well as portions of Mount Pleasant Township and Bullskin Township in Fayette County.

Our fleet consists of (3) ALS ambulances; 422, 424 and 426, along with a quick response vehicle.

Last evening, Ambulance 422 and Medic 426 responded to a two vehicle accident in the Mount Pleasant Township portion of the service area.

As a result, one individual was transported via LifeFlight to a Pittsburgh area trauma center for further treatment.

Last evening, several members from Medic 10 attended the 2nd Annual Westmoreland County First Responder Recognition Award Dinner.

EMT Christner was nominated by Director Gergas for a First Responder Excellence Award, exemplifying compassion and empathy towards those who suffer from substance abuse and mental health emergencies.

EMT Christner was one of several first responders to win this outstanding award.

With permission to share this photo, Jesse also attended this event with the crew. EMT Christner went above and beyond, providing care and humanity to Jesse in his time of need. Jesse wants his story told, as he is now 14 months sober!

Also, thank you to all of the organizations and sponsors for having such an amazing event!
