Our McGuire Mustangs had an absolute blast visiting Central Michigan University today to watch the musical A Year with Frog and Toad! 🐸🍂
We are so grateful to CMU and everyone who helped make this wonderful cultural trip possible for our students. Arts, learning, and big smiles—what a fantastic day to be a Mustang! ❤️

Empathy is our Capturing Kids’ Hearts trait we are learning about during August and September. Every Friday, we launch our students into the weekend with a school-wide message with something to think about as we send them on their way. Check out our Friday lunch today that is on empathy. At McGuire, we want our students to feel seen, known, and loved. One of our school jobs is for our students to have student greeters every day that welcome them to school. These amazing fifth graders set the bar high for our greeters. We are working so hard to Capture Kids’ Hearts!!

The Snack Cart is wide open thanks to Thrive Church MI !!! Our staff is thrilled and overjoyed to enjoy snacks to make our Friday even better. Thank you so much to Thrive!!

We are starting out strong with our Capturing Kids’ Hearts programming and our school-wide jobs. We want our kids to feel like they belong and fit and have a role with what we do and how we do it here at Mcguire. Check out our Flag Captains for this week! They learned how to put the flag up today and it will happen daily by student students here at Mcguire!  The flag will also come down daily at the end of our school day. So proud of the work we do and that we are empowering students to pour into our school community!
