September 11, 2001 is a day we will never forget.
We remember the lives that were lost. We remember the heroes who ran toward danger. And we remember how, in the days that followed, our country came together.
This September, we want to honor that spirit by serving others. ❤️🤍💙
On Friday, September 4 from 7–9 AM, join us for breakfast as we raise money and collect care package items for Ministering Our Military. These care packages will be sent to active-duty military members in November, giving them a little reminder that the folks back home are thinking about them.

Can't make it to breakfast? You can still be part of it!
📦 Drop off donations Monday–Friday from 8 AM–5 PM at 1401 Industrial Rd., Mt. Pleasant, now through September 4.
💻 Want to give online? Use the donation link below. Every gift—$5, $10, $25 or whatever is on your heart—helps us fill these care packages and send a little piece of home to someone serving far from theirs.

BOARD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT 🇺🇸

Jaime Singletary joined Ministering Our Military (MOM) in 2018 and currently serves on the board as Secretary. Her passion for supporting active-duty military personnel, veterans, and first responders is deeply personal and woven into her everyday life.

Jaime is married to a retired firefighter, has a son currently stationed overseas serving in the United States Air Force, and is herself a member of the Omaha Volunteer Fire Department. Her connection to those who serve—both at home and abroad—has given her a deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by our military members, veterans, first responders, and their families.

One of the things Jaime treasures most about MOM is the friendships it has created and seeing the incredible support the community continues to show for those who have served. For her, MOM is about bringing people together, building relationships, and making sure no one feels like they have to face difficult times alone.

Of all the events MOM hosts, Carry The Load holds a special place in Jaime’s heart. Its mission of honoring and remembering our nation’s heroes reflects exactly why she is so passionate about being part of MOM.

It’s a group of people who have come together to create a place at the Veterans Resource Center where those who need help, support, or simply someone to turn to can find it.
