We are excited to announce an opening for an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher at Westbrook School for Young Learners! 🌟

This half-time (0.5 FTE) position begins on August 13, 2026, and offers the opportunity to support our youngest learners in a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging early learning environment.

We are looking for a passionate educator who holds:
✔ A valid Illinois Professional Educator License
✔ Early Childhood Education Endorsement
✔ Early Childhood Special Education Approval
✔ English as a Second Language Endorsement (preferred)

📍 Location: Westbrook School for Young Learners
🕣 Schedule: 8:30–11:50 a.m. daily (183-day certified staff calendar)

Last night, our Lincoln Middle School Class of 2026 officially graduated! 🎓✨

From inspiring (and hilarious 😆) student speeches to special awards, amazing music performances, and unforgettable moments, it was a night full of celebration, laughter, and pride. 💙

We are so proud of all our graduates and everything they accomplished during their District 57 journey. As they head off to high school, we know they’ll continue to grow, lead, and make a difference wherever they go.

Congratulations, graduates — and remember, as Dr. Gorr shared, you will always have a home in D57! 🏡✨

Our elementary students at Fairview and Lions Park had an amazing time at Field Day today! ☀️🎉 With beautiful weather, lots of smiles, and so many fun activities, it was a perfect day to celebrate the end of the school year.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff and parent volunteers for making the day so special for our students! 💙

Today, we wished our Circle of Friends preschoolers a wonderful summer with a Field Day full of bubbles, bouncy houses, art, laughter, and so much fun! ☀️🎨🫧

Today, our 8th graders had an awesome field trip to Enterrium at Woodfield Mall! 🎳🎮🎱 From bowling and arcade games to pool, darts, great food, and plenty of laughs, it was a day full of fun and togetherness. 💙

Tomorrow is their final day in District 57 before graduation on Thursday! We’re so proud of this incredible group of students and can’t wait to celebrate them as they take the next step forward. 🎓✨
