BOE Policy - Section 5:128 --- MPCUSD #23 Social Media Comments and Participation Policy

By posting comments or other materials to official MPCUSD #23 social media outlets, users give MPCUSD #23 the irrevocable right and license to exercise all copyright, publicity, and moral rights with respect to any content users provide, which includes but is not limited to, using submission

s for any purposed in any form and on any media such as: displaying, modifying, reproducing, distributing, creating other works from, and publishing submissions. MPCUSD #23 reserves the right to review all comments before they are posted, and to edit them as seen fit. Additionally, MPCUSD #23 reserves the right to reject or remove comments for any reason. In posting materials or comments to MPCUSD #23 social media outlets, users agree NOT to:

1) Post materials determined by MPCUSD #23 to be threatening, harassing, obscene, defamatory, illegal, slanderous, or hostile towards any individual or entity.
2) Post confidential or personal information of any person other than yourself which includes but is not limited to: phone number, email address, street address, date of birth ,etc… Users who choose to post such information about themselves is done at their own risk and with the knowledge that the information will be available to the public, and therefore subject to misuse by the public.
3) Post materials that infringe on the rights of MPCUSD #23 or any individual or entity, including privacy, intellectual property or publication rights.
4) Post material that advertises, endorses, solicits, or promotes a commercial product, business, membership, or financial need, except those which are officially sponsored by MPCUSD #23.
5) Post chain letters, the same comment multiple times, or “spam.”

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless MPCUSD #23, its affiliates, directors, employees, successors and assigns against any damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, causes of action, costs or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs) arising out of any claim by a third party relating to any material such user has posted on MPCUSD #23 official sites and social media. MPCUSD #23 reserves the right to the following:

Permanent refusal of posts from specific email address or IP address, or through other means as necessary, from individuals who repeatedly violate these guidelines. Removal or editing of comments at any time, whether or not they violate these guidelines. By posting a comment or material of any kind to MPCUSD #23 official sites or social media, the user hereby agrees to the guidelines set forth above.

!SCHOOL BOARD MEETING UPDATE!
Due to predicted severe weather, the Mt. Pulaski CUSD 23 school board meeting scheduled for this evening will be RESCHEDULED to NEXT Wednesday, June 24th in the MPGS Learning Center. Executive session will begin at 6:00, with the Budget Hearing at 7:00 and regular meeting at 7:05.

The Mt.Pulaski Hilltoppers Shotgun Sports team has once again completed the Trifecta. We are the 2026 State Champions in S***t, Trap, and Sporting Clays!

Our boys swept the male varsity division with all three medals!

MPHS Students: Need Service Hours? Help Needed Today!

A local homestead was hit hard by yesterday’s storm and is looking for student volunteers to help with storm cleanup.

Students interested in earning service hours are encouraged to come help out and support a member of our local community.

State Trap Tournament Success for the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers Shotgun Sports Team!

What an incredible day for the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers Shotgun Sports Team! The team captured 1st Place in Trap, with the top five shooters combining for an outstanding 494 out of 500 targets.

The team delivered exceptional performances across the board, with several shooters achieving personal bests throughout the competition.

This wraps up an outstanding weekend for the Hilltoppers, highlighted by a State S***t Championship and a State Trap Championship finish. We are incredibly proud of all our athletes for their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship.

Good luck to the team as they prepare for the State Sporting Clays Tournament on June 13!
