Unearth a story at the Montgomery County Public Library this summer! Join us for our summer reading program for fun programming for all ages at our Mt. Sterling branch, Camargo branch, and our Bookmobile! Sign-ups for summer reading open on June 1st. 📖

Join us on June 15th at the Judy Drive-In for an evening of games, prizes, and a movie! Gates will open at 7:00 PM and activities and games will be available until the movie begins. Sign up for summer reading to receive a free admission ticket! 🎥

Celebrate the best of America at the library on July 10th with crafts, games, hands-on activities, educational displays, a living history museum, snacks, and more! Stop by anytime between 5:00-7:30 PM for this come-and-go program. Families are encouraged to wear costumes and bring props to help others learn about important moments, events, or people in U.S. history! 🇺🇸

Other programs throughout the summer include bingo, karaoke, game night, science projects, and more! Plus, read and log books you check out at the library to win prizes and attend our summer reading finale at the pool! Mark your calendars for May 12th - 14th. We will be having a surplus sale - sealed bid auction - at the Mt. Sterling Library. Items will be available for inspection and bidding during regular library hours from Noon on Tuesday, May 12th until bids are open at 6 PM on Thursday, May 14th. We will have furniture, some organizational items, AS IS technology and computers, plus more.

We also have a lot of surplus DVDs and some books that will be available as cash and carry. Meaning pay that day and take them home, no bids necessary. Be sure to stop by to look for anything you may be interested in.

New Camargo Take & Make Craft!

🚜Our Camargo Branch has a new craft out today, May 11th! Stop by and pick up a Take & Make Build a Tractor and Farmyard craft and get creative at home! These crafts will be available until Friday, May 15th and are first come first serve.

Monday, May 11th at 6:30 PM we have our monthly Montgomery County Public Library Board Meeting.

Tuesday, May 12th from 12:00-7:00 PM we will start our Library Surplus Sale. You can stop by our Mt. Sterling Branch to view items for sale and leave a sealed bid. There will also be $1 DVDs for sale! Highest bidders will be called on Thursday or Friday. Item pick up for highest bidders will be on Friday, Saturday, and Monday (May 15th, 16th, and 18th).

Wednesday, May 13th from 10:00-7:00 PM is our second day of our Library Surplus Sale.

Thursday, May 14th from 10:00-6:00 PM last day of the Library Surplus Sale. We will also be having the Montgomery County Community Blood Drive from 11:00-6:00 PM.
