Tonight marked the conclusion of the Mt. Sterling Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy.

Over the past 9 weeks, participants met once a week to learn about the many aspects of policing within Mt. Sterling and Montgomery County. Attendees were provided an inside look at the daily operations, responsibilities, and challenges faced by law enforcement officers, while building stronger relationships between the department and the community we proudly serve.

The evening concluded with remarks from Mayor Al Botts and Chief Aaron Noel, who thanked the participants for their commitment and involvement throughout the program.

We appreciate all of this year’s Citizens Police Academy attendees and their continued support of the Mt. Sterling Police Department. Future Citizen Police Academy dates will be posted on our page and website.
