Join Beekeepers, Ashley Ekstrom & Jim Ginter, and Horticulture Agent, Cheyenne Lamb on Thursday, April 30th at the extension office education center located at 104 E. Locust Street Mt. Sterling, KY 40353 for the Montgomery County Beekeepers Meeting.

Refreshments are at 5:30, beginner topics are at 6:00, intermediate topics are at 6:30, and they are followed by the questions and answer wrap up.

We would like to invite you all to the Lunchbox Garden Workshops

Tzatziki Dip & Cucumbers, April 21st at noon
Bruschetta, April 28th at noon
Pico de Gallo, May 5th at noon

Participants will learn how to grow and care for vegetables that they can later use in lunches and dinners throughout the summer!
You do not have to attend all 3 classes!

They will be hosted in the Montgomery County Cooperative Extension Education Center located at 104 E. Locust Street, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353. Call us at 859-498-8741 to sign up!

💥Attention any NEW interested Farmers' Market vendors & RETURNING Farmers' Market vendors💥

Wednesday, March 18th Farmers' Market applications are available for pick up at the Montgomery County Extension office from 8:00-4:30 during the week. You will have until June 1st to pay your fees. After that there will be a late fee added onto the regular market fees.

Thursday, March 19th at 6 p.m. WIC and Senior vouchers training at the Montgomery County Extension office for new and returning market vendors.

💥Attention any NEW interested vendors & RETURNING vendors💥

March 19th @ 6pm we will be holding a meeting for training at the Montgomery County Extension Office for any new or returning vendor interested in accepting senior & WIC vouchers for the 2026 season
