The Village of Mt. Sterling is hiring a full time Fiscal Officer/Clerk of Council. Starting salary $27.50 with full benefits. Please submit your resume to our mayor at [email protected] if you’re interested.

Attention Mt. Sterling Village residents… Tomorrow, Wed. Aug. 5, council will be having a work session starting at 5:30 PM in Townhall to discuss the water rate study & the results. I urge you to either tune in or attend in person. This will affect all village residence that use village water!!

Scam alert: over the past week I have received separate calls from “AEP” and today was “Columbia Gas” from a local number appearing to be a Mt. Sterling number. Both said the same thing, “You are over paying on you gas bill. You have been being charged a commercial price instead of a residential price.” Then they want your billing info. Definitely a scam!

Sterling Community Center for a night filled with fun for all and resources to help prepare for the school year ahead.
