🚚 CALLING ALL FOOD TRUCKS! 🍟🍦

The Annual MSVFD Carnival and Parade is officially booking food vendors for this year's event, and we want YOU to feed our hungry crowd!

We are looking for a select group of high-quality trucks to be the exclusive food providers for the evening. If you want prime exposure at a massive community event, this is it!

📅 The Details:

Date: July 18th

Time Required: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Location: MSVFD Carnival Grounds

🍔 What We Are Looking For:

We are locking in a limited lineup to ensure high sales for our vendors. We need:

2 - 3 Carnival-Style Food Trucks (Think hot dogs, burgers, sausage & peppers, pizza, fries, etc.)

1 Specialty Truck (Drinks, snow cones, ice cream, etc.) * Does not require all items*

⚠️ Please Note: We are NOT accepting vendors for funnel cakes or deep-fried Oreos for these slots, as those items are already covered as well as water and soda.

This Tuesday, May 12th, we are asking the citizens of Grant County to stand with your local volunteer fire departments and VOTE YES for the Grant County Fire Levy.

Our firefighters answer the call day and night — responding to fires, vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, rescues, and disasters throughout our community. This levy helps provide the funding needed for lifesaving equipment, training, apparatus maintenance, and emergency response operations.

A YES vote means safer firefighters, better equipped responders, and continued protection for the families and communities we proudly serve.

Even if you are unable to vote due to your party affiliation, you CAN still vote just for the levy! Please take a moment to vote and help us help you!

Early voting for the Grant County Fire Levy begins April 29th, and the Grant County Volunteer Fire Association encourages all community members to take part and support this important effort.

This levy is needed to help maintain reliable fire protection across the county, including funding for essential equipment, station upkeep, and ongoing training for volunteer firefighters. As costs continue to rise, this funding helps ensure departments can remain properly staffed, equipped, and ready to respond when the community calls.

The cost is based on property classification: Class 2 property (residential and farm) would be taxed at 2.5 cents per $100 of assessed value, while Class 3 and Class 4 property (vehicles) would be taxed at 5 cents per $100.

Your vote directly supports the strength and readiness of your local fire departments. Be sure to vote early starting April 29th or on Election Day.
