The Bricktown Model Railroaders Association would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Russell Booher.

Russell was a valued member of our association, and we were fortunate to enjoy his friendship, volunteerism, and dedication over the years. His warm smile, infectious laughter, good-natured banter, and willingness to help made him a joy to be around and brought light to every gathering.

Russell’s presence enriched our organization, and the friendships he built with so many of us will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Russell. Your memory will always remain a part of our Bricktown family.

Tonight we were making progress both on the layout and the haunt in the basement but we had a fuse on the pole pop outside. Was a great time to test the emergency lighting on all the floors. Also made for some nice moonlit shots of the layout. 😂

🚂 Calling all East Broad Top families and descendants!

This year, the East Broad Top Railroad will host a special Descendants Reunion Weekend, June 13 & 14, bringing together the families of the men and women who built, worked on, and supported the railroad throughout its long history.

For generations, the East Broad Top was more than just a railroad; it was a way of life for many families in the region. This reunion weekend will be a chance to reconnect with that history, share stories, and celebrate the people whose hard work helped make the railroad what it is today.

If you have a family connection to the East Broad Top, whether through work on the railroad, the mines, the shops, or the communities that supported it, we would love to hear from you.

More information is available on our website, and we encourage you to make a full weekend of it, spending time sharing memories of days gone by, while creating new ones for generations to come.
