What are the Warhawks doing? A little bit of everything—and a whole lot of learning! 💙
Across our classrooms, students are learning, growing, creating, experimenting, and having fun along the way!
Even a power outage couldn’t stop the learning! 💡 Officer Sullivan jumped into Outdoor Pursuits to teach students some basic first aid, while Mrs. Lasley got creative with lighting to carry on her lesson. That’s making the most of every situation!
In Child Growth and Development, students researched the history of parenting from 1600–2020 and presented what they learned to their classmates.
Mrs. Jalynn’s science students were introduced to systems using a cherry pitter—and Officer Jones even got in on the learning! 🍒 Mrs. Cornett’s concurrent Psychology class is studying research methods, while our preschool students took their learning on the move with a circle hunt. 🔵
In art, students are practicing value, color order, blending, pattern, and space using watercolor. 🎨 Our 9th graders have been busy in the lab practicing accurate and precise measurements and putting their skills to work building bridges in science.
This is the good stuff—hands-on learning, creativity, curiosity, problem-solving, and experiences that make learning stick!
