Knox County Family and Children First Council

Knox County Family and Children First Council In short, FCFCs are the only entity that "connects the dots" for children and families who are in need of multiple services. A Referral Form can be found here.

The mission of Knox County Family and Children First Council is to promote and facilitate collaboration among community agencies serving children and their families. Family and Children First Council (FCFC) connects the dots to eliminate redundancy and bring resources together for planning, monitoring, and improving outcomes for families and children. Any family with a child or youth (age birth th

rough 21 years) in need of a coordinated inter-disciplinary plan to address their unique needs is eligible for service coordination through FCFC. Referrals typically come through provider agencies, but any family has the right to self-refer for service coordination.

Knox County FCFC Coordinator, Ben May, recently attended the Ohio Children's Alliance Spring Conference in Columbus, and used the opportunity for networking with state and community partners. Featured in this photo is Chelsea Freeman from Lorain County Children and Families First Council, and Esther Hawkins Wayne County Family & Children First Council. Looks like the wonderful photographers in attendance caught them discussing some very animated topics.
