Skagit County Solid Waste Providing waste reduction & disposal information to residents of Skagit County

The Master Composter/Recycler Program at Skagit County Public Works, Solid Waste Division, is a collaborative volunteer program increasing local citizen capacity to make consumption decisions to reduce the generation of household garbage. Refuse what you do not need, Reduce what you do need, Reuse what you consume, Recycle what you cannot Refuse, and Rot (Compost) the rest. Volunteers who attend t

he spring training recieve free education materials and 30 hours of class, and in return give back 40 hours as educators teaching practices of waste reduction, recycling and composting in the Skagit County community.
