Heads up for traffic being rerouted beginning tomorrow (Thursday August 13). Hope to see you all downtown for the Mount Vernon Music & Arts Festival!

With the Mount Vernon Music & Arts Festival this weekend, a few road closures will be in place.

The event organizers shared that the following streets will close on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 8 a.m. and reopen on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at approximately 10 p.m.:

- Main Street from Chestnut to Ohio Avenue
- High Street from Mulberry Street to Gay Street
- Vine Street from Mulberry to Gay Street
- Gambier from Mulberry Street to Gay Street

Additionally, the following streets will be closed on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Cruise-In:

- South Main Street from Ohio Avenue to Phillips Drive
- Howard Street from Main Street to Gay Street
