2026: The Year of the EAST BIKE BUS!
What a ride it has been! 🚲💙 Our final Bike Bus of 2026 is in the books, and we have SO much to be thankful for!
What started as an idea from East neighbor Walt Lewis, inspired by the original Bike Bus in Oregon, turned into an incredible new adventure for our school! Walt shared his vision with Mrs. Watterson and Mr. Clinedinst, and the rest is history!
It truly takes a village, and ours showed up in a BIG way! 💙

🚲 Thank you to an anonymous donor whose generosity provided bicycles for so many children!
🚲 Thank you to our East neighbors and community members who waved, cheered, and encouraged us along the way!
🚲 And most importantly, THANK YOU TO OUR EAST EAGLES who showed up, pedaled hard, smiled big, and made every Bike Bus morning something special! 🦅
What began as a simple idea became a wonderful new tradition that brought our students, families, school, and community together!
2026 was the year of the Bike Bus, and we are already looking forward to EAST BIKE BUS 2027! KEEP PEDALING, EAGLES! 🚲 🦅
