From our friends at the Butler County Board of Elections a great reminder to make sure your birthdate is correct on the absentee ballot application. A common mistake we see is entering todays date and not your birthdate, causing your application to be delayed.

www.boe.ohio.gov/knox

We're noticing a common mistake on absentee ballot applications: voters are either leaving the date of birth field blank or entering the current year (2026) instead of their actual birth year.

🟨 On most absentee ballot applications, including those provided by our office, required fields are highlighted in yellow. Be sure to complete and double-check ALL required fields before submitting your application.

Missing or incorrect information will delay the processing of your absentee ballot request.
