Senior Keanan Shannon will be hosting a clothing drop box in the MVHS office to collect items for storm victims in Washington, IL. The Red Cross of Central Illinois is coordinating the donations and needs. The long-term needs consist of winter clothing items, blankets, coats, etc.

Anyone wanting to volunteer to assist with the drop off drive on Nov. 30 at West Side Transport (4201 16th Ave SW Cedar Rapids, Iowa ) let Keanan know to identify a team to assist.

Student Council purchased a Goat, 8 chickens, 10 fruit trees, a sheep and 10 rabbits for World Vision!! Check out the Student Council Board right outside of the lunch room to see the farmville they have created!

Student Council just donated over 75 cans to the South East Linn Community Center all which came from the Halloween Dance, Thanks to everyone who came!! :)

Tomorrow is the Halloween Dance from 9-12 at the High School. Admission is $5 OR $2 plus a canned food item. All canned food items will go to the SE Linn Community Center! Hope to see you there!!

Check out the Student Council Board this week, it's right outside the lunch room! It features goals for this year's charity World Vision!! Student Council would like to raise over $1500!!

May 23rd is the All School Picnic. This year there will be a dunk tank featuring Mr. Brand, Mr. Orr, Ms. Ledger, Mrs. Willems, Mr. Scearce, Dr. Ewell and Mr. Timm! All proceeds go to Charity so start practicing that throw!
