Congratulations to the following winners of the 2025 Jim Claypool Art & Conservation Writing Contest. This contest was produced as a partnership between Kentucky Farm Bureau and the Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts with the theme: "Kentucky Wetlands Up Close." Students K-12 throughout Rockcastle County entered this contest and each school chose their top 3 and sent those entries to the Rockcastle County Conservation District office where the board made their decisions on the top entries. Again congratulations to those winners and we can't wait to see what entries we get this year.

We had a wonderful night at the Farmer Business Banquet. Thank you to all that was able to joined us. We had a wonderful dinner provided by Ravenwood Ridge with the Rockcastle FFA serving. The Conservation District and the Chamber of Commerce handed out awards and then we had Mrs. Kentucky - Arianna Rodriquez as our guest speaker. Such a great night and of course we finished off the banquet with door prizes.
