Walleye Park on Lake Cypress Springs will be closed until further notice due to extensive damages caused by the recent inclement weather.

It is our goal to get these parks open as soon as we can safely manage. As always, safety is the #1 priority of all FCWD staff and crew.

Thank you for bearing with us during this time of repair and clean up. We cannot wait to have you all out here enjoying the great outdoors with us again soon!

Hello Park Patrons!!

Franklin County is now under a burn ban.

What does this mean in the parks on Lake Cypress Springs?!?

It means no open flames whatsoever which is to include campfires and grilling.

We hope you continue to enjoy our parks but ask that everyone respects the burn ban in the meantime.

🏕️ Good Neighbor Camping at Lake Cypress Springs
A little courtesy goes a long way! Keep noise down after 10pm, respect campsite space, clean up after yourself (and pets), and be friendly to fellow campers.

When we look out for one another, everyone enjoys the lake more. 💙

⛵ Boat Launch Checklist for Lake Cypress Springs

Before you hit the water, run through this:

✅ Life jackets for every person (properly fitted)
✅ Fire extinguisher and throwable flotation
✅ Navigation lights working
✅ Drain plug installed
✅ Trailer disconnected and parked
✅ Know the no-wake zones

Taking 5 minutes at the launch prevents problems on the water. Everyone gets out faster when we're all prepared.

What's your pre-launch routine?
