If you use our curbside pick-up service, please be patient with us, as our curbside truck is down for a major repair on the engine. We will still pick-up on your scheduled day, however, we will be slower than usual since we will be using a box truck and pick-up truck to get it done. It looks like the repair could take 3-4 weeks. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we thank you for your patience. ♻️🚛

The Posey County Recycle Centers will be closed on Saturday, July 4th so that our Employees can celebrate Independence Day. The Yard Waste Site in Poseyville will be open normal hours on Saturday (8:00 - 4:00). Thank you and have a Blessed and Safe 4th of July!

Our office will be closed on Monday for the holiday. Have a happy and safe Memorial Day Weekend!

The Posey County Solid Waste office will be closed Tuesday, May 5th for Election Day. The Mt. Vernon Recycle Center will still be open from 2pm to 6 pm and The Poseyville Recycle Center will still be open from 12 pm to 6 pm on Tuesday.
