We really enjoy seeing our Head Start kids snacking on Viva Farms produce! Thank you families for sharing your pictures with us!

Yesterday, we were able to send home purple sprouted broccoli from Viva Farms. Sounds like it was hit with the families, and we have the pictures to proove it!

Skagit/Island Head Start offices will be closed for Spring Break from Friday, April 3 through Friday, April 10. Offices will reopen and resume normal business hours on Monday, April 13.

Las oficinas de Skagit/Island Head Start estarán cerradas por vacaciones de primavera desde el viernes 3 de abril hasta el viernes 10 de abril. Las oficinas reabrirán y retomarán su horario normal el lunes 13 de abril.

This month our centers have selected their own Harvest for Healthy Kids kit to go home. Sedro Woolley Head Start and Early Head Start are sending home a grater, and potatoes for their families.

This month our centers have selected their own Harvest for Healthy Kids kit to go home. Whidbey Head Start is sending home a colander, green beans and garlic for their families.

This month our centers have selected their own Harvest for Healthy Kids kit to go home. BECDC (West View) is sending home a roasting pan and cauliflower for their families.

THIS FRIDAY, February 27! From 5-7pm at the Valley Food Co-op you can pick up a $5 meal and support the Help Me Grow - Skagit Family Resource Center !! No Co-Op membership required for the Community Meal! If you are a member, any shopping you do on Friday, February 27th will contribute to the 5% Friday initiative, which also supports the HMG-S! Family Resource Center!!
