U.S. residents are now required to use a REAL ID, or other federally accepted form of ID, in order to board domestic flights, enter nuclear power plants, and access federal facilities.

When you renew your license, you will receive a temporary paper license. This temporary license WILL NOT be accepted as identification to fly. Please allow 10–15 days to receive the actual REAL ID in the mail.

Mt. Vernon License will observe Good Friday by closing on Friday, the 3rd. Testing by the Highway Patrol will take place at 319 E Dallas as scheduled. Normal operations will resume the following Monday. We hope you have a wonderful Easter.
