For more than 40 years, Mary and her family have been a part of summertime in our community, serving up snow cones and smiles to generations of residents. While many came to know her stand at Veterans Park over the years, her presence has long been a cherished local tradition. Known for her colorful flavors, friendly service, and familiar face, Mary created lasting memories for countless families.

With Mary’s recent retirement, the stand at Veterans Park will not be operating for the 2026 season. Her contributions to the community and the joy she brought to so many will be fondly remembered.

The City is currently evaluating options for the stand and will share updates as plans develop.
