Today was one of those unexpected moments you don’t forget. I had the honor of receiving a coin and two patches from someone in the U.S. Secret Service. It’s not every day you get something like that handed to you and it means a lot. Grateful for the gesture, the trust, and the reminder of the dedication and professionalism that goes into serving at that level.

Tomorrow, Kenneth ships out to Basic Training as an Infantry recruit Kenneth and he’s stepping into this with the mindset of a warrior. The motivation is real. The discipline is there. The commitment is solid. Basic Training will push him physically and mentally, but that’s exactly where he is going to thrive. He’s been preparing for this moment, and now it’s time to show what he’s made of. The Army is gaining someone who’s driven, focused, and ready to serve with pride.

Huge congratulations to Jessica on shipping out to basic training! Your dedication and courage are truly inspiring. We’re all incredibly proud of you as you take this incredible step. Wishing you all the best as you tackle every challenge and grow stronger than ever. We’re especially excited for you to have the opportunity to become a 14U, an Air and Missile Defense Crewmember, after basic. That’s a vital and exciting MOS, and we know you’ll excel in protecting the skies.

He’s choosing to serve the country he’s building a future in. Through his service, he’ll earn his US citizenship and get many more benefits the US Army offers .
