The next Prayers at the Pal, hosted by Seeds of Faith, is the evening of August 17th. Hike at 5:45pm, prayers begin at 6:30pm.

Thanks again to Prairie State Mushroom Club for leading the Foray at the Pal yesterday!

We found a variety of mushrooms along/off of Cool Hollow Trail. I can't remember, nor pronounce their names 🙃, but there are many people/experts who can!

Thank you to Raptology for presenting your birds at the Pal today!

The owl, Reggie, is a 14-year-old great horned owl.
We also got to meet a red-tailed hawk who is newer to being an education bird. This was her third event, so she was a bit nervous but did an incredible job. Our presenters answered the many questions of the guests and handled the birds with such grace and patience.

Thank you to all who made it out today! We hope to see you at events in the future!
