Meadowside Playground Meadowside Playground is a natural play area beside a 4 acre wildflower meadow. The playground is located at the Mount Vernon Grace Brethren Church.

Large swathes of beardtongue (penstemon hirsutus) are getting ready to bloom in the meadow! This one is a magenta / bright pink.

Last year the meadow was painted white with beardtongue.

Please note that the playground address and location are incorrect on Apple Maps.

The address is:
12426 Old Mansfield Road
Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050
(park in the Mount Vernon Grace Brethren Church lot)

And the playground is located where the red star is drawn on the map.

Also, the hours are wrong — the playground is open during daylight hours.
