Congratulations to the MWMS 7th and 8th Grade Band as they earned a Proficient Rating today at North Oldham HS! These group of kids have been working extremely hard since late January on our music, and made so many improvements and to top it all off enjoyed a day hanging out which each other.

They also had a fabulous performance and represented our school so well. Now onto our 6th Grade Concert on March 26th at 7pm.

Today, Mr. Fudge, our MWMS Band Director, visited Crossroads Elementary to speak with 5th graders about the MWMS Band program.

Old Mill Families, be on the lookout for information regarding a visit to OMES by Mr. Fudge in the near future.

Congratulations to former MWMS Band Director Mr. Brandon Etienne on his performance with the East Oldham MS Symphonic Band at the KMEA Professional Development Conference this morning.

Fun fact: Mr. Fudge was in Mr. Etienne’s group when he participated in the 2018 Kentucky Musicians Abroad trip to Europe.
