Our Shoe Drive Fundraiser will be featured during the 6:00 PM news hour tonight! Our very own Morrissey Walsh from WGAL will be covering the story.

Cheryl Ann Callahan has stopped at Riverview Community Action Corp. almost every day for the past six years. She exercises, crafts and spends time with her friends. Sometimes the best community resources come from word of mouth ❤️

As we continue transforming our new building into the future home of the Northeastern Senior Center, we are looking for recommendations for someone experienced in framing work for our future kitchen project.

We are specifically looking for:
✔️ Wood stud framing
✔️ Ceiling/rafter framing
✔️ Small area of metal stud framing for fire safety

If you know someone reliable and insured who does great work, we would truly appreciate the recommendation.

Check out the news coverage of our Music and Fun on the Lawn event we had today. We were able to host the event on the grounds of our future home in Strinestown! It was a beautiful day. Full of so much fun and laughter.

We are incredibly honored and grateful to have been recognized with the Good People Award through “Good People Challenge” in celebration of their 60th Anniversary and Mental Health Awareness Month. 💚

A heartfelt THANK YOU to for selecting the Northeastern Senior Center for this special recognition and for your continued support of older adults in our community.

Every day, we strive to provide friendship, support, activities, education, compassion, and a welcoming place where seniors can connect and thrive. To have that mission recognized in such a meaningful way truly means the world to our staff, volunteers, and members.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Their sacrifice made possible the freedoms we enjoy every day — freedoms that should never be taken for granted.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day weekend, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude for those who gave everything for our nation.
