WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2nd - SINK VALLEY AREA - WATER INTERRUPTION
Water service will be temporarily interrupted Wednesday morning, September 2nd, starting at approximately 8:00 a.m., affecting Sink Valley Road and closely adjoining areas, while our contractors complete tie-ins to the service lines. We do not have an exact time frame at this time but we appreciate your patience as they complete this necessary work.

Great news! Yoga on Thursday evenings will continue through September with a Yoga Flow class from Instructor, Anna Davidson! Classes are suitable for all levels, beginning to advanced, and are affordably priced. Our ability to continue offering evening fitness classes depends on community support for it, so please take advantage and join us! Better yet, call all your friends and bring them!

The Town of Mountain City has been notified that we have been awarded a grant of $22,500,000.00 for wastewater infrastructure improvements by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Yes, that is $22.5 MILLION!!! Many people, organizations and businesses provided support to help make this (locally) record breaking grant funding possible. It may sound easy to "just write a grant" but it was a long process and a team effort, followed by many months of waiting for the award notice this week. So thank you to all those folks who stayed positive and prayed with us. And now the hard work begins to coordinate the projects and get the construction underway. The contractors are finishing up and hope to have water service restored within the next 1-2 hours.
