The Gunfighter Fitness Center offers a variety of programs and equipment for physical health and recreational activities. WHAT WE DO
Set up your work out utilizing our Cardio Theater lined with 58 cardio machines. Each machine is equipped with a 15-inch television monitor and a DVD/CD/cable connection. Headphones (not supplied) are required for sound. Our Resistance Training Room has selectorize
equipment. Our Multi-Function room contains bumper plates, pull-up bars, boxes for jumping or step-ups, several aerobic machines, and a ladder climber. The Weight Training Room houses our free weights, and is considered the "backbone" of the fitness center. We offer an aerobic room with 34 spinning bikes, and a room with punching bags and mats for contact sports. In addition to the aerobics rooms, there is a Fitness Annex located across from the Fitness Center that has spin bikes, cardio equipment, selectorize equipment, a basketball court, and indoor running track. The Parent/Child Supervised Workout Area is now located across the hall from the Cardio Theater. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children when using this area. The area is equipped with total body and cardio machines. The area also has a television with DVD/CD/Cable connections for children and parents to watch. The fitness center offers two racquetball courts and two basketball courts. Equipment may be checked out at the front desk. A variety of classes are offered monthly, including step aerobics, spinning, circuit training and a variety of martial arts. Class schedules are available at the front desk. Each locker room has a family changing area, private showers and a sauna. Outdoor recreational facilities include basketball courts located near the dormitories, two softball fields, an asphalt running track, indoor running track, a football and soccer field, a multipurpose field, and four tennis courts. The Fitness Center provides boil and bite mouth guards (free of charge) for contact sports. The dental clinic (DSN 7300) can fabricate custom made mouth guards for active duty members. Please utilize mouth guards for your safety.
