In 2006, I had the pleasure of being elected to the Baxter County Quorum Court representing District 8. With us all working together we can make our district and county the best in Arkansas. Thank you for your support in the past, present, and future. I humbly ask for your vote on November 4, 2014. My Experience and Qualifications:

Schools Personnel Policy Committee for 12 years. Quorum Court member for 8 years. (serving on: Budget, Personnel, Building and Rural Fire Committees)
Mtn. Home Rural Fire District Treasurer and former Volunteer Fireman. Historical Society member and officer for 20 years. Lieutenant Commander of Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp 1519. Wolf House Restoration team member and Pioneer day committee. Baxter County Democratic Club officer and County Committee member. Youth Sports Coach for 20 years. I am a Baxter County native and have lived in District 8 for 15 years. Graduated from Mtn. Home High School in 1989. Graduated from Arkansas State University in 1993. Named to Who's Who Among America's Teachers. Wife: Tarina. Two sons: Derek and Kyle. Member of First United Methodist Church in Mtn.

Filing period for local, state, and national elections is set for early November! Yes, November 2015. Primary election was changed to early March. 2016.

Sorry that Baxter County lost the $600,000 grant for a new Baxter County Health unit. It took a lot of hard work from our health department folks to get us that grant in 2012. After 2 and half years of incompetence from our county executive we lost the money.

Well, we came up short to the letter "R". Lots of folks still vote for party over the qualified candidate. Hard to believe but true. We will rest up and then gear up for our next campaign in 2016. Thanks for your support this year. I will need you all in 2016.

Election Day is tomorrow. Polls open at 7:30 am and close at 7:30 pm. I would like to thank everyone who has voted for our campaign and if you haven't voted yet I ask for your vote tomorrow. I always put people first, not political parties.

Last Day to early vote is tomorrow at the Couthouse only. Over 6,000 have voted so far. Get out and vote tomorrow or Tuesday. Thanks everyone for your support and votes! Let's finish strong.
