The project is my Girl Scout gold award project. It’s the highest award that can be achieved as a Girl Scout. It requires 80 hours of brainstorming, planning, and executing a service project. The project must be impactful on the community and be sustainable.

Volunteers included: Maddie, Monroe, Tallia, Amy, Julianna, Reagan, Raul, Erin, Sabrina, Sydney, Alyse (East's librarian), Melanie, Aiden, and Audrey.

MHHS and BMHS students graced our hallways yesterday! What a privilege to have these silly characters in our building! I am especially proud to have worked with most of them for 3 out of their 4 years at the high school! Congratulations to all these seniors and thank you Mr. Cotton and Mr. Tesar for the experience. Our kids were star-struck!

We loved celebrating our teachers last week! All students secretly filled out one of the 2 papers (seen in one of the pics) and our parent group leader (Autumn Corbus) assembled these, placing every single student's fingerprint on the cover page of their teacher's booklet. Pretty hilarious what kids come up with about their teachers - we have some teachers who are 99 years old... The rest of the week was sweatshirts (I know, just in time for summer), treats and a luncheon on Friday (I know... I should've taken more pics).
