As of today, (8/23/26) Areas A, and the road to the south loop have all been cut. Area B should be OK, but I didn't get to cut up by the upper water tower. Right before the water tower you can continue to the south loop and return back to the water tower.

Area D path out to point 9 lookout has also been cut.

As of today, (7/3/26) Areas A, B, D and H along with Upper water tower loop, and the south loop have all been cut. Area H to the camp loop was cut but not down to the old boat ramp.
Area D path out to point 9 lookout has been cut.

I met a family today that was biking on Ozark Isle. They were visiting from Kansas City, and their family in Theodosia (?) had them bring bikes to go riding. They had a great time and said they’ll be back to explore more of the island.

I didn’t get their names but I give them 5⭐️for traveling to the twin lakes area with bikes!

The rains last week caused a lot of growth on Ozark Isle. Today I cleared Loop A, B, water tower, south loop and lower water tower on Ozark Isle. (Everything in yellow has been cleared). From the triangle at the entrance everything to the left has been cut. Right now the path out to Barnes Island is open but as the lake rises it will be cut off. Barnes Island is at the end of Loop A. Area D up by Point 9 shouldn't be too bad, I'll get to that next week. It was great to see a bunch of cars in the new lot tonight when i left!

Yesterday I cut Area D and moved the downed tree by Area C. I still need to return and use my backpack blower to clear off the debris.

If you hike out to Area D, look for the newly cleared path up to the Point 9 sign and enjoy the view of the main bay!

We started clearing paths yesterday on Ozark Isle. (Everything in yellow has been cleared). From the triangle at the entrance everything to the left has been cut. Loop A, B, water tower, south loop and lower water tower has been cut and cleared. There is a tree down by the water tower but its easily passable. I'll work on Area C and D this weekend.
